When planning a wedding, the bride is often confronted with the decision of whether to hire an expert or create her own flower arrangements. Engaging a professional arranger costs money, sure, but you can be almost assured he will give you a good presentation for your most desired day and event. However, doing your own centerpiece will give you, the bride, the pride of creating it yourself, giving something very significant to the event. The stems must be cut long and only trimmed to correct length before use. Let the flowers absorb water for a few seconds, then transfer them to a bucket half-filled with water to stow before using them.

In creating the showpiece, take four flowers and hold the stems in your hand, forming a square with the flowers themselves. One color or several is okay per your desire. Add one stem at a time to the four middle flowers and make a dome shaped arrangement that spills over the vase to at least cover it partially. If the center flowers have one color, you can tier the colors surrounding them or not, depending on your choice. Once in a while, position the bunch against the vase to see whether you have enough flowers. Tie the stems with a floral ribbon where they bunch together then cut the stems at an angle one by one, place the flowers in the container and youre finished.

Doing flower arrangements for a nuptial is not too difficult if you have something to guide you. Since these creative pursuits are subjective in nature, there is really no incorrect or correct of making them as long as you obey certain principles and adhere to your theme. So go do it!
