Wedding Theme Suggestions

Getting married should not mean that you must stick with the conventional and traditional way. When I say getting married the traditional way, it is when you get married inside the church and anybody is all dressed up. We could all help to make our special day just one of the most remarkable weddings that our guests will ever attend and it shall be the talk of the town.

I think every bride and groom wants to have the best of everything when they get married. That is why there is no reason for couples to get all dressed up in suits, tuxedos, coats and the wedding gown when they can get married in their most comfortable clothes.

1. Getting married by the beach is one of the most popular theme weddings that a lot of girls are dreaming to have. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll have the beach closed for your wedding. You can have the best spot of the beach where the shore line is long enough to be your aisle and where the waves don’t really crash. You don’t want your wedding to get washed out by the giant waves and end up getting a mouth to mouth resuscitation kiss instead.

2. A garden wedding is also just one of the greatest themes that modern couples happen to be having. It is not something new but the approach that’s being applied to this kind of theme in these days makes it more exceptional and elegant. You’ll be walking on flowers and grass lined with dandelions and as you approach the groom, flowers will likely be showered upon you. This also makes a superior venue for the wedding reception as well, following the wedding ceremony. You may serve your favorite salad and pasta and have anyone share the dance floor since it is practically limitless. Typically, garden weddings are open-air weddings. Thus, checking the weather forecast for the wedding day is one of the most essential tasks to do. You do not want rain to wreck this day.

3. Fairytale weddings usually are held in Disneyland. Here, you can definitely dress up as Cinderella, Princess Aurora or even Snow White and get married by the ever famous iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle with your dashing Prince Charming Groom, who is also dressed up as Prince Charming! Of course, you simply can’t help but have a lot of park visitors watch your wedding ceremony so you would just have to live with it. It’s really a park so there shall be tons of men and women who are going to be gate crashing in your wedding.

4. Want a snow wedding? It is unusual and it is fabulous to have bits of snow fall from the sky as you walk down the open-air aisle. This kind of wedding might require a bit more of planning simply because it could involve warmer clothes instead of a designer gown that could get ruined in the snow. However, it’s terrific to heat things up just when the surroundings tend to be getting cold. A sleigh pulled by reindeers will likely be you bridal car and if you would like to be a little naughtier, throw snow at the girls as opposed to the bouquet of flowers in the end ceremony. Keep it that way and your wedding will turn into a snowball fight. It may be fun but be careful because you don’t want to end up in the hospital.

Protect your Flower Arrangements from Viruses

Bacteria and viruses can attack fresh cut flowers as they would attack any one of us. Mixed flowers in a vase pass viruses to each other. Just like we pass viruses or the flu to each other.

Any leaf of a flower that is submerged or touches water will rut. This rutting produces bacteria that will kill your flowers. If the vase water is not changed frequently a slimy substance (Bacteria) surrounds the end of the stem and flowers will be deprived of water and food. That beautiful flower arrangement that you just spent $200 dollars for is ruin in a day or two. Because the flower shop that you bought your flower arrangement at was not careful when he or she was putting together your flower arrangement.

Change the water in your vase as often as you can. Don’t wait more than three days to change the water in your vase and if you feel a slimy substance, remember that is bacteria and you want to change the water right away! Avoid your flowers having any contact with fruit. Fruit is always releasing gases and those gases will kill your flowers.

Now this story hurts. I buy this beautiful flower arrangement for Christmas and they die the very next day. What happen was I left them by a bowl of fruit and the fruit gave my flowers a virus that killed them the next day. I learn this later from my florist.

Here are just a few tips to avoid having any problems with your floral arrangement. Wash the vase with some bleach. Bleach kills any bacteria that are clinging to the vase. Add acids to the water right away. A table spoon of lemon juice or vinegar, couple a drops of Listerine will keep the water fresh and bacteria free. I learn this from my local florist her name is Anaid Petrosyan and she owns a flower shop in Glendale CA called Red Carpet Floral Design.

I always ask the same question to three or more florist. I have learned so much about the floral business because I would take the time ask my florist questions. Talk with a local florist about any concerns you may have. Florist are very knowledgeable about flowers and that can really help you avoid making big mistakes with your flower arrangements.
